Kaila graduated from Molalla High School in 2007. She attended both Clackamas Community College and Chemeketa Community College working towards an Associates of Arts.

Kaila's goal is to teach psychology at either the high school or community college level.

She enjoys coaching and playing tennis, reading, camping, snowboarding and cooking.
